The essence of climate justice is rooted in humanity and the protection of vulnerable populations. To truly grasp the severity of climate crises, we must understand the full extent of the damage and empathize with those who bear the brunt of its impacts. Our post-flood evaluation documentary and research project, “Heartbeat,” captures the aftermath of the flood crises, highlighting the enduring effects and the challenging recovery processes. This work vividly portrays the ongoing horror and uncertainty faced by affected communities. It is important that we prioritize loss and damage finance, ensuring it reaches these communities directly. By doing so, we can provide the necessary support for recovery and build resilience against future climate-related disasters. #climateactionnow #lossanddamege
