As the new president of MOSOP, he is determined to revive the movement’s original mandate, which has been fragmented over the years due to political interference and internal strife. Engr. Wai-Ogosu, a passionate environmentalist and human rights advocate, is dedicated to uniting the Ogoni people across the four local government areas: Khana, Gokana, Tai, and Eleme. He has made it his mission to address the deep-seated issues of environmental degradation and loss and damage that have plagued the region for decades. His partnership with Lincgreen aims to document the untold stories, amplify the voices of the oppressed, and ensure that the Ogoni people’s struggles are not forgotten.
