WHO WE ARE
Lincgreen Climate Change Initiative is at the forefront of environmental advocacy and climate action in Nigeria and Africa. Established with a passion for fostering sustainable development, the organization operates with a vision to create a green and resilient future for communities facing the adverse impacts of climate change.
Lincgreen Initiative was established in 2020, and subsequently registered with Federal government with CAC 7815281 as non-profit organization aims at contributing to the wellbeing development of the most vulnerable Nigerians in the rural communities. The organization raise funds from donors and private donations from philanthropies and collaboration/partnership with other CSOs, CBOs, community structure and government agencies to address poverty, hunger, women, girls & children wellbeing & education, MHPSS and other climate change related crisis.
The organization employs a multifaceted approach, combining data collection, analysis, and evaluation with community-driven initiatives to create tailored solutions that address the unique needs of vulnerable populations

OUR OBJECTIVES
Objective: Conduct workshops, training programs, and awareness campaigns to educate communities about climate change, its impacts, and mitigation strategies.
Plan: Develop and distribute educational materials, organize community events and school programs, and collaborate with local media to spread awareness.
Objective: Implement flood defense systems, early warning mechanisms, and community preparedness plans to protect against flooding.
Plan: Construct and maintain flood barriers, install early warning systems, and conduct community drills and education on emergency response.
Objective: Advocate for and facilitate access to financial resources for communities to recover from climate-induced loss and damage.
Plan: Engage with international funding bodies, create partnerships with financial institutions, and develop grant programs to support affected communities in their recovery efforts.
Objective: Empower local communities to develop and lead their own climate action projects, ensuring solutions are tailored to their specific needs.
Plan: Provide training and funding for community projects, facilitate collaboration among local leaders, and support the implementation of locally-driven climate initiatives.

Professor Aniebiet Inyang Ntui
Chair Person
Professor Aniebiet Inyang Ntui is a distinguished Nigerian academic, librarian, environmentalist, and Professor of Library and Information Science. She has made remarkable contributions to the field of academia, serving as the University Librarian at the University of Calabar. Her expertise and dedication to research and environmental advocacy have earned her widespread recognition, and in August 2022, she was honored as the "Most Read Researcher in Nigeria". Professor Ntui's impact extends far beyond the academic world. She has played a pivotal role in shaping global environmental and policy discourse. As a renowned thought leader, she has virtually chaired panels and negotiations at some of the most prestigious international events, including the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), the 2022 United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP15), and the 2023 G20 New Delhi Summit. Her influence also spans major global summits such as the 2022 G20 Bali Summit, the 2023 United Nations Summit on Groundwater, and the 2023 World Economic Forum. Professor Ntui's leadership in these forums has been instrumental in driving conversations around climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable development, making her a key figure in global efforts to tackle environmental challenges. Her work continues to inspire a new generation of scholars, activists, and policymakers dedicated to creating a sustainable future for all.

Diolu Tobechukwu Prosper
Executive Director
Tobechukwu is a climate justice advocate, documentarian, author and journalist who is known for his role in reporting climate injustices and oil exploitation in Niger Delta region Nigeria. The host of Look Beyond Oil campaign, speaker at COP29 hub and chief editor COP29 news blog. Awarded as His Eminent peace ambassador, by international association of world peace advocates and the United Nations; director of Heartbeat and Beyond the siege documentaries. He is passionate about justice for exploited indigenous host and littoral communities and just transition away from fossil fuel. Featured on local and international TV and Radio stations, Tobechukwu continues passionately leading young advocates to voice out against climate injustice.

Ohunene Amodu
Board Member
Ohunene holds a BSc in Social Work and has extensive experience in healthcare, with a particular focus on community mobilization, data analysis, and education. With 4 years of hands-on experience in community outreach, she has helped design and implement programs that empower underserved communities. Additionally, as an educator, Ohunene has experience designing training materials and creating handbooks for secondary school students, equipping them with valuable knowledge and skills. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's in Public Health (MPH), further expanding her expertise in public health and community development.

Bashiru Yusuf

Bashiru Yusuf is a highly respected green energy expert and engineer, renowned for his contributions to sustainable technology and environmental conservation. He is the founder of Generation Engineering USA, a leading company dedicated to advancing renewable energy solutions and promoting sustainable practices across various industries. With a background in engineering, Bashiru has dedicated his career to developing and implementing cutting-edge green energy systems. His expertise spans the design, optimization, and deployment of renewable energy solutions, including solar, wind, and hydropower, to reduce the global dependence on fossil fuels and mitigate climate change. As a pioneer in the field, Bashiru has worked on numerous projects that integrate innovative and sustainable technologies, furthering the development of green economies worldwide. His leadership in Generation Engineering USA is a testament to his commitment to creating environmentally responsible, efficient energy systems that not only help protect the planet but also contribute to global economic growth. His work continues to inspire engineers and innovators to adopt sustainable practices for a brighter, cleaner future.
